I've been back from cruise for a couple of days, it was fun and relaxing. I think it is necessary to write down something for me to memorize the trip.

 

The cruise was with Silja Line, it took 3 days between Stockholm and Helsinki. The ship was a party boat, so there were cabins, bars, pubs, shops, restaurants... everything I can think to have a party with. Normally when I plan to go out for a trip, I have to make a plan for accomendation, travel rutins, programs, timing and so on. But this time I didn't need to consider so much,  because the active area was fixed on the boat, there were not so many options to confuse me. So it was really nice to just hunging around with friends in the ship and didn't need to think about anything. Xuan, who was our "capiten", was a good organizor. We had so much fun in the trip is mostly because of his good organizing.

 

We were together 11 friends in the trip, and 8 of us took the Silja Line bus to the terminal. The bus tour took 2 and an half hours, which was more than I expected. We 11 person got 3 cabins, 4 girls in one room, and the guys shared 2 rooms. The ship departed stockholm 5 in the afternoon. Directly after we checked into our cabins, we went up to the top deck. We were quite excited and took dozens of pictures. There were extremly lots of Japanese tourist on the boat. Then we spent the rest of the evening in looking around in the ship, shopping and eating. We ate the food we took with us that day, because we knew that the food on the boat was expensive. We sang karaoke, there were only old and few english songs. Jason and Hanks sang "country road take me home" and blew everybody away, cool. Little Bear and I sang "hero", it didn't work out so well. And we looked at shows and danced in the night club. I slept around 2 in the night.

 

The next day 9 in the morning, ship arrived Helsinki, we got about 8 hours to get off the boat and have a look around the city. Unfortunately I forgot my camara in my luggage in the cabin, so I couldn't take pictures in Finland. I asked my friend to take some pictures for me instead. We did exactly as the other tourists, we looked at a few interests places in the town, we took lots of pictures, and we found a small restaurant to eat...... The interests places were quite impressive and different from what I had seen before, but the town was sort of the same as all the other big old cities. Still, there were lots of Japanese tourists. I was wondering if all the Japanese like to take a holiday in Finland.

 

5 o'clock in the same day afternoon, we got back to the boat and the boat started to drive back to Stockholm. We played an interesting card game for a few hours and then we went down to the restaurants area. We planed to eat the boat's buffet in this evening. But, unbelievably, the buffet was full booked. Maybe all the guests on the boat had the same thoughts as us--- eat on the boat in the last day of the trip. The buffet was quite famous and expensive, it was a shame that we couldn't try it. So we had dinner in another restaurant, I had the day's special, it was one of the cheapest course--- around 10 euro, not bad. This evening, we sang again in karaoke, and watched another show. Some of my friends stayed awake to watch the sun rise, but i was too sleepy to stay. The next day they told me that the sun rised behind an island, which was not so beatiful.

 

9 o'clock in the morning, we arrived stockholm again. So we spent 2 nights on the ship and one day in Helsinki. I'll put some pictures in the space's photo album when I've collected all the pictures from my friends.
