Smörgåstårta (sandwich cake)

Invited a few relatives to our flat this Saturday. I prepared a Smörgåstårta for lunch.
 
Smörgåstårta is a typical Swedish party food. It is a sandwich with 3 layers of bread filled with creamy filling, and on top it is often decorated by salad, egg, ham, caviar and so on. Smörgåstårta is often in big size and served in small pieces like a big cake, and from the appearance, smörgåstårta is more like a cake than a sandwich. I think it is why it is called "sandwich cake", not "big sandwich" or something like that.
 
It takes quite a long time to prepare a smörgåstårta, and smörgåstårta is extra tasty and creamy if it stands in fridge over a night, so I prepared it the night before the lunch, and the result turned to be quite good. 
 
Smörgåstårta can have various flavors depending on what filling and topping it has. What I made was shrimp flavour.

super easy sweet sour ribs

I had consulted my mum before I cooked this dish, and it turned to be quite OK! PP almost ate up his fingers Mycket glad
 
Jenny's super easy sweet sour ribs recipe
 
Ingredience:
  12 pieces ribs in finger length
  2 slices of ginger
  a few pepper corns (not mandatory)
  4 table spoon suger
  2 tea spoon vinegar (can be more if you like it more sour)
  A big onion
  Salt, oil,
  1 tea spoon dark soja sauce
 
Action:
  1. Soak the ribs in a large amount of cold water in advance, in order to reduce blood in the meat.
  2. Remove ribs from water and drain it.
  3. Slice ginger and onion.
  4. Heat some oil in wok pan, fry ribs together with salt, ginger and pepper corns in high temperature until ribs become golden brown.
  5. Put HOT water into the wok pan, water should almost cover the ribs. Add the suger and soja sauce.
  6. Cook ribs in weaker heat for about 10 minutes, until water becomes dark, thick sauce. Add vinegar.
  7. Move ribs into a plate, and leave sauce in the wok pan.
  8. Fry onion quickly in the same pan with the same sauce.
  9. Put onion and the rest of the sauce on the ribs in the plate.
  10. Match best with rice, good appetite!
 
Onion is not mandatory either, but I think a dish with only meat and suger is too.... en... heavy, some vegetable kind of thing like onion would make the food more...en... friendly. Do you get what I mean? I don't...

I made pizza

I was all alone at home and had nothing to do, so I found myself a thing - make pizza. I had gotten the ground receipt from my kitchen teacher, so all I needed to do was just following the receipt to make the dough, and stuff some fillings I like on the top.
 
I used: kitchup, a can of tunna fish in tomato sauce, Chinese sausage, salami, squash, tomato, cheese and oregano.
 
The pizza tasted just awful. It was not good at all. I made two small ones, and I still have one and a half pizza left in my fridge. I guess it because I put too many things on the top, those flavours probably couldn't get along well with each other. Ah, what a disappointment!
